Rose Wonder and Rose Garden Thinlits

I received my Rose Wonder bundle in the mail at the end of last week. I decided I wanted to at least demonstrate this bundle at a Stampin' Up party later this week. I was perusing Pinterest when I came upon a stained glass window technique using this set. Here is the link for Stamp With Tami where I learned how to complete this technique.

After I had the first two roses done I thought that I should be able to use the left over rose and leaf outlines. I created the two cards below by using the outline left by the die cut to sponge ink on the card and then glueing the die cut over the sponged area.

Stampin' Up Products used:
Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White, Very Vanilla cardstock

Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz, Elegant Eggplant inks
Rose Wonder, Crazy For You stamp sets
Wink of Stella clear brush

CAS(E) This Sketch #166

The sketch challenge for this week. The challenge ends on Thursday morning.
Sketch #166

Below is my submission for this week. I wasn't sure how I was going to tackle this sketch at first. I thought about it for a day or so, then I realized the paper fold I wanted to try would work. I love the botanical garden product set from Stampin' Up and thought this was a chance to use it.

Products Used from Stampin' Up:
Hello Honey, Cajun Craze, and Mossy Meadow card stock
Botanical Garden Designer Series paper
Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze ink, Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Botanical Blooms and Suite Sayings stamp sets
Wink of Stella clear brush
Basic Pearls embellishment

I couldn't decide which side to place the sentiment on so I created this version at the same time.

Here is the card I submitted. This challenge was just what I needed to use the sweet pea from Stampin' Up Friends and Flowers.

Products used: Stampin Up Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz cardstock, Perfectly Artistic designer paper, Pear Pizzazz ink, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and Copic Ciao yellow and skin white.

First Time

I have never been a blogger, but I have decided to give this a try. I have been making cards for over 15 years, but I recently became a Stampin' Up demonstrator. Two weeks ago I decided to try a design challenge and I found one called CAS(E) This Sketch. I uploaded my design using Pinterest for an online gallery. Much to my surprise my card was featured as an Honorable Mention for that week!!!

Card made using Stampin' Up Whisper White and Mint Macaron cardstock, Botanical Builder framelits,   Botanical Gardens Washi Tape, Corner Trio Punch and Happy Birthday Everyone Hostess stamp set.
